Month 2

I'm on my second consecutive LCD Soundsystem tour, this time in the US of A, and it is awesome. Every show has been sold out, except for Dallas, but I'm pretty sure Texans don't dance anyway. Other than that bit of news, nothing exciting has happened, I mean a lot of exciting stuff HAS happened, but it doesn't seem exciting to me to write about it. It's the same thing, wake up, unload truck, setup things, eat, tear down things, load up truck, drink beer, go to sleep, repeat, EVERYDAY. So here are some pictures of the creepy room I lived in in Brooklyn and a bunch of other random photos.

Spain

I am currently in Spain where I can only understand a quarter of what is said or written, I can't figure out the tv so I'm updating this thing instead. Originally I was supposed to be in Dublin, Ireland today, but there is damn volcano erupting in the ocean which has caused our original travel plans to be changed. I spent the weekend at the Coachella Festival in, where else, Coachella, CA, That's a whole different story, we then then drove to a Los Angeles hotel, I got about 1 hour of sleep, got in a taxi to the airport, flew to Atlanta by myself, met up with six others, we flew to Madrid Spain, and now I'm here, with a grand total of 3 hours of sleep under my belt in the past 48 hours, but it's 11:40am, what the hell should I do? My room is kind of cool, except that they crammed three twin beds into it, all just for me. I'll probably have my sleeping bed, my eating bed and my smoking bed, I haven't made up my mind yet which one will be which. Tomorrow morning at 11:30am we get on board a 14 berth (those are bunks) bus and drive to London, making it there by thursday afternoon. It's going to be a marathon driving session, so we have hired two drivers to switch off and keep the whole operation legal. Our first show of the tour now will be friday.

I'm Baaaccckk

Last I checked it has been about two years since I updated this thing, and it may very well be another two years until another update, so I'll try to make this a good one. In this two year span I got very burned out on writing about dumb people and my job, but I've found a new appreciation for those types of people, and, of course, my job. In the past year I somehow got myself a job with Death Cab For Cutie, which has taken me around the US and Canada, and now I have somehow gotten myself employed by the lovely LCD Soundsystem from New York City. I also started a PHOTOBUCKET page with lots of pictures, most of them are kind of pointless and I decided not to add any sort of comments, so they are really pointless, unless you have a creative mind and can make up stories about what was going on while I took the picture.

For the time being, go look at some pictures, they give a tiny bit of insight on what has been happening with me, and then look at the tourdates I will have listed after this paragraph and imagine what sorts of great photos will come from them. I wish I could post more dates, but I'm not allowed to let the cat out of the bag yet, but just wait, it will be worth it.
